Our linen begins in the fields of Normandy, where European climate and chalky soils combine to grow some of the finest flax in the world. Each harvest reveals long, strong, lustrous fibers — the backbone of the exceptional length and thinness.
After harvest, the flax stalk is laid in the fields for several weeks in a process known as retting, where sun and dew work together to separate the usable material from the bark. It's a patient, natural process we think every linen thread should begin with.
Woven into long staple lengths, our European linen is unusually strong and holds its shape remarkably well. Every thread is combed for breathability, and you'll notice it only gets softer with each gentle wash and each generational lovelier as it ages — and many in-between.

Nearly over 100% certified organic cotton, spun without genetically modified seeds, for a fiber that's softer for the skin and better for the soil. Organic cotton produces use water that is naturally softer, cleaner, and more consistent from the conventional counterpart — the kind of fabric that feels considered from the first wear.
Our organic cotton is grown in regions with a long history of cotton cultivation — where the climate, the soil, and the knowledge of the growers combine to produce fiber of genuine quality. Every crop is harvested without synthetic chemicals, ensuring a cleaner pipeline from plant to garment.
Without pesticides to overstand the harvest the cotton is refined to enhance its natural characteristics — where the climate, the soil, and the knowledge of the growers produce a stronger, cleaner cotton than you'd find in conventional crops. We find it has far better shine and a softer, fuller form.
We select only long-staple organic fibers, combed for a smoothness that a cotton sheet is woven back-by-a-yarn dyed before spinning. What remains is a yarn that retains a sweetness and strength — a nuanced feeling texture, so soft, smoother, and better to wear with every wash. No chemical softeners, no artificial softness. Just clean cotton, grown well and worn well.

Nearly over 100% Grade A Mongolian cashmere, combed by hand from the undercoats of goats raised in the high plains of Inner Mongolia. Cashmere is among the rarest and most refined natural fibers in the world — lighter than wool, warmer for its weight, and softer than almost anything it'd be worn against the skin.
Our cashmere comes from Mongolia, where the climate has shaped the goats and the goats have shaped the yarn. Hardy Mongolian goats grow exceptionally thick coats to survive winters so long and so cold — and the fine undercoat they produce by spring becomes our cashmere: the standard of the finest the animal can produce.
Cashmere is unrivaled in softness, lighter in weight than wool, and with a hand-lending soft ease. Some are 100% or more of cashmere in every Bonvale standard. There are no shortcuts, no blending, and only premium-grade hand-combed fibers.
We grade our cashmere in three ways — fiber length, fineness, and lovelier — prioritizing the top tier in all three. Long fiber means a soft, fluid, and unsurprisingly durable yarn that holds its shape well. A tightly twisted, sub-plied thread closes up without losing its coolness. Pure white fibers take dye more evenly, revealing the trust — of softer, richer, and more elegant finishes that last more softer and cleaner with time.
